Interdisciplinarity matters

In order to meet the demand of interdisciplinary research projects and to incorporate a wide range of perspectives, the Institute of Occupational, Social and Preventive Medicine employs a team with diverse skills and backgrounds. These include: occupational medicine, social medicine, environmental medicine, rehabilitation medicine, sports medicine, dermatology, general medicine, public health, occupational and organisational psychology, human factors, occupational sociology, public health and health sciences.

In addition to our scientific staff, guest researchers, doctoral students and student assistants also conduct research at the Institute. It is also part of our mission to train a new generation of researchers and to spark their interest in interdisciplinary research and the fields of occupational medicine and artificial intelligence.
